Research overview
This course has been designed to foster critical thinking and to develop your analytical skills by addressing a broad range of material.
Our teaching and research is at the forefront of developments in film and television studies, cultural and media studies, art history, visual studies and critical theory. Our postgraduate students benefit from leading research expertise across these areas.
Research facilities
All research students are involved in the Postgraduate Professional Development Programme, which includes weekly work-in-progress seminars. The school's energetic research culture also involves a programme of visiting speakers and regular symposia organised by staff and students.
Recent events have focused on cultural borrowings, television and memory, digital archives, transmedia storytelling and sound in the media.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students who do not meet the entry requirements stated above and students who hold a three-year diploma (Da Zhuan) from a recognised Chinese university with good grades, may be eligible for the University’s pre-Master's Programme delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Students need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
