Behavioural economics is a rapidly expanding field, investigating the human and social factors influencing the decisions made by consumers, borrowers and investors.
The Behavioural Economics MSc is informed by the world-leading research of the Centre for Decision Research and Experimental Economics (CeDEx). You will learn about the experimental methods used by our researchers and use our computer lab to conduct economic experiments. You will also be invited to attend workshops and seminars that are run by the centre, which include speakers from across the globe.
Our research-led approach to teaching guarantees a challenging experience, providing the skills you need to progress as a professional economist or academic researcher.
At the end of this course, you will be able to read and understand current and classic research papers in the field of behavioural economics, and will have received one-to-one guidance to enable you to complete your first behavioural research project or experiment.

Careers
This course is particularly relevant if you wish to pursue behavioural or experimental economics research at PhD level, or a career in a wide range of fields, including finance.
A masters in economics provides a logical and rigorous perspective on human behaviour which is valued by a wide-range of employers around the world, in banking, business, consulting, government and academia.
Former MSc students are spread around the globe, working in academia, government and the private sector. Economics graduate destinations include Barclays, Bloomberg, Deloitte, Economist Intelligence Unit, Goldman Sachs, IBM, PwC, and Thomson Reuters.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who do not meet the entry requirements stated above and students who hold a three-year diploma (Da Zhuan) from a recognised Chinese university with good grades, may be eligible for the University’s pre-Master's Programme delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Students need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
