This course offers students from a non-clinical background the opportunity to study sport and exercise medicine.
Overview
This course is open to students from a range of science and research backgrounds and offers multiple study options to accommodate part-time study for practising professionals.
You will develop the knowledge and skills to manage sports injuries and illness and to explore the relationship between physical activity and health. Through your research project, you will have the chance to explore a subject related to sports and exercise medicine or exercise physiology under the supervision of a member of academic staff.
Course highlights:
- Face-to-face teaching within a clinical environment, where you will work closely with clinicians, research scientists and academic staff.
- A breadth of possible research subjects across sport and exercise medicine, as well as cross-faculty opportunities in nutrition and muscle physiology.
- You will be taught by experts in their fields who work at a national and international level in sport and exercise medicine and research.
The range of backgrounds of the students on this course will provide you with a rounded education - drawing on the wide ranging clinical experience and different expertise of the students and lecturers.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students who do not meet the entry requirements stated above and students who hold a three-year diploma (Da Zhuan) from a recognised Chinese university with good grades, may be eligible for the University’s pre-Master's Programme delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Students need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
