Overview
This programme aims to provide you with an extension to your previous studies and the opportunity to put into practise what you have learnt in an extended industrially relevant research project to enable you to gain employment as professional engineers in this field. In order to provide flexibility, the course also offers a wide range of optional modules.
You will gain experience of the types of problems encountered by academic and industrial researchers, both via taught courses and project work. Written presentations will be undertaken at various stages of the course.
A substantial extended individual project will be undertaken, developing your ability to engage in independent learning, and preparing you for postgraduate research or careers in industry. The project will form the basis of your written dissertation. You will also develop your ability to think logically and critically, to acquire problem-solving skills, to become competent users of relevant equipment and software, and to communicate results effectively.

This programme equips graduates with the skills suitable for a wide range of careers in UK and international organisations and for the pursuit of a research path in the field of electrical and electronic engineering.
Career destinations for our graduates include IT business analysts, systems designers, programmers, software development professionals and production technicians, as well electrical engineers and engineering professionals.

為來自中國的學生設(shè)計 Students who do not meet the entry requirements stated above and students who hold a three-year diploma (Da Zhuan) from a recognised Chinese university with good grades, may be eligible for the University’s pre-Master's Programme delivered on campus at the University of Liverpool International College. Students need to have IELTS 6.5 overall with a minimum of 5.5 in each component.
