在這里學(xué)什么？ Broaden your horizons while studying how the universe works. This accredited course covers fascinating topics such as wave phenomena and the quantum world, with a life-changing year spent abroad at one of our partner universities. Spending time studying in another country can boost your employability. It can demonstrate your adaptability, independence and international outlook. Learning a language is an excellent addition to any CV. Our students go on to work in industries such as engineering, aerospace, IT, and finance.You can also apply for a paid summer research project where you can work directly with our researchers.We are proud of our world-changing impact. Research undertaken within the School, by Professor Sir Peter Mansfield, was recognised with a 2003 Nobel Prize for the invention of Magnetic Resonance Imaging body scanners. This technology has already helped more than half a billion people worldwide. More recently, our recent use of quantum technologies to understand how the brain works is changing the way that neurological conditions are detected and treated.We share our love of physics with budding scientists worldwide through the popular Sixty Symbols YouTube channel. Our teaching has been given the highest rating of 'Gold' (Teaching Excellence Framework 2017).- This course is accredited by the Institute of Physics- Joint 3rd for research quality in physics in the UK (Research Excellence Framework 2014)

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
