專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ Be part of a supportive midwifery community. We'll help you to develop your knowledge, practical, interpersonal and leadership skills on your journey to become a midwife. This course is fully accredited by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Upon successful completion of the course, you'll be eligible to register with the NMC as a newly qualified midwife.Case-holding takes place throughout all three years of the course, providing you with experience of offering continuity of care for women, babies and their families. You'll care for women through all the stages of pregnancy, birth and beyond. Approximately 50% of the course is practice-based, giving you the opportunity to observe and participate in real-life midwifery care. Our teaching is research-led and as an established regional provider of midwifery education, we work in partnership with four diverse NHS Trusts. This means you'll benefit from a wealth of different clinical learning experiences across the maternity services.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
