在這里學(xué)什么？ You'll learn about different areas of microbiology, covering health, disease, food and the environment. Using our Super Lab you'll find out how to use microbes in the development of vaccines and medicines.Accredited by the Royal Society of Biology, our degree has been independently assessed. As an accredited degree, you'll learn how to work with level 2 pathogens safely. These are biological agents that can cause disease such as Staphylococcus aureus, Listeria and Salmonella.You'll develop your laboratory skills and learn:- sterile technique- how to identify pathogenic bacteria- the mechanisms of anti-microbial resistanceAs active researchers, our teaching is shaped by the latest thinking. Academic mentors will support you on a one-to-one basis in your final year research project.Throughout your degree you can choose from a range of additional options. You can apply to do these when you get here:- industry placement - you can add a year in industry between years two and three- study abroad - options include Australia, Canada, or Europe

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
