在這里學(xué)什么? Immerse yourself in American and Canadian history, literature, art, music and film. and culture. Understand the impact of politics, religion, race and gender on America’s rise from colony to superpower. Nottingham is one of the few universities in the UK to offer Canadian studies as a named minor option.Our expert-led modules cover a wide range of North American history, literature, art, music, film and politics. You will encounter diverse approaches to reading, writing about and understanding the topics. This course will develop your independent thinking and team working, writing and research, and sharpen your career skills.You can also experience North America by choosing to study abroad for a year at a US or Canadian university (on the T704 degree course).Other ways to study American Studies:You may also combine American Studies with English, History, Latin American Studies, Politics, or Film and Television Studies in our joint honours programme, or study alongside multiple disciplines in our BA Liberal Arts.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
