專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ On this practical course, you'll balance animal science with the production and management of commercial livestock. You'll use the 450 hectare University Farm and visit local livestock farms.Teaching is based at Sutton Bonington Campus which has an international reputation for animal science research. You'll gain practical animal handling experience and use our Farm Demonstration Centre. The Centre for Dairy Science Innovation is also on-campus. These facilities offer the latest research technologies. You'll develop your scientific knowledge and use our labs and fields to apply this in practice.On this course you will:- manage a student sheep flock- get industry expertise from guest lectures and visits to commercial organisations- understand the nutrition, growth and welfare of farmed animalsThroughout your degree you can choose from a range of additional options. You can apply to do these when you get here:- Industry placement - you can add a year in industry between years two and three- Study abroad - options include Australia, Canada, or Europe- Year in Computer Science - use algorithms to analyse complex data and apply this to your course

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students who have completed 12 years of education (Gao Zhong) in China must complete a Foundation Programme or GCE A Level (or equivalent) and demonstrate proficiency in English language in order to progress on to an undergraduate degree programme. Students who successfully complete the Foundation Certificate, obtaining the grades required for their chosen degree programme, will be guaranteed admission to the University. Students need to have IELTS 6.0 with minimum 5.5 in each component.
