The curriculum in industrial design requires 122 credit hours and provides education in the design of products for mass production to meet the needs of people and their environment. Emphasis is placed on the awareness of the market demand for design, experience in the problem solving process and methods and materials of production and their relative costs, creation of designs that are in visual harmony with their environment and that are satisfying to the consumer, and responsiveness to the changes in technology and cultural patterns.

為來自中國的學生設計 Students should complete their high school courses strong grades in these courses. English: 4 years required; Math: 3 or 3.5 years required, 4 years recommended; Social sciences: 2 years required, 4 years recommended; Lab sciences: 2 years required, 4 years recommended; Language other than English: 2 years required, 4 years recommended; Flexible academic units: 2 years required, 4+ years recommended. English language Requirements: International undergraduate students whose total TOEFL scores are 102 (TOEFL iBT) or below (*total IELTS score of 7.0 or below) are required to take the EPT. To be exempt from EPT, students must score either on TOEFL iBT: total 103 or above, and 25 or above on both speaking & writing; or on IELTS: 7.5 or above total, and 7 or above on both speaking and writing.
