Our programmes provide an integrated series of training modules to help you develop your professional and personal skills as well as your scientific expertise. As is usual in UK universities, you would register initially for an MPhil award.
Your research work will be closely supervised and supported, particularly in the early months. At intervals during your project, you will be expected to demonstrate to our academic staff that your work is progressing well and likely to achieve a successful outcome. If you have a sponsor, such as a UK Research Council or an overseas government, this is also an assurance that they will expect.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students need to have a Bachelors degree awarded by a high ranked Chinese university with an average grade of at least 70-88%, dependent on awarding institution. Most of our Masters programmes require you to achieve equivalent to a 2.1. X1 75% or 2.8 GPA, X2 78% or 3.1 GPA, X3 80% or 3.25 GPA, Y1 78% or 3.1 GPA, Y2 83% or 3.5 GPA, Z 88% or 3.7 GPA. IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.5 in reading and writing, 6.0 in listening and speaking.
