In the context of climate change and diminishing natural resources, demand is growing for chemical engineers with the skills to design sustainable technologies and processes. Drawing on Southampton’s innovative and internationally leading research in areas such as low-carbon technologies, fine chemicals, green energy, and water/wastewater engineering, this one-year master’s degree will equip you with the specialist skill set needed to meet this demand. Your studies will provide advanced training in process control and reactor design for sustainable technologies, enabling you to solve complex engineering problems. You’ll also gain real-world insights by working on a brief set by industry, boosting your employability. As you would expect from a Russell Group university, Southampton has a proven track record for high-quality research. In the most recent Research Excellence Framework our engineering research was ranked first in the UK for general engineering research power, and 94 per cent of our chemistry research portfolio was rated as world-leading or internationally excellent. 為來自中國的學生設計 Students need to have a Bachelors degree awarded by a high ranked Chinese university with an average grade of at least 70-88%, dependent on awarding institution. Most of our Masters programmes require you to achieve equivalent to a 2.1. X1 75% or 2.8 GPA, X2 78% or 3.1 GPA, X3 80% or 3.25 GPA, Y1 78% or 3.1 GPA, Y2 83% or 3.5 GPA, Z 88% or 3.7 GPA. IELTS 6.5 overall with 6.5 in reading and writing, 6.0 in listening and speaking.
