在這里學(xué)什么？ A Philosophy, Ethics and Religion degree at Southampton provides you with the opportunity to explore fundamental and far-reaching issues. You will engage with questions that have puzzled great thinkers for millennia, but are still relevant today: How should we live? What can we really know? Can religious beliefs be justified? And what is their role in society? You will explore these fundamental questions using the philosophical method of reasoned argument and critical scrutiny. You will have the opportunity to explore ethical questions and views, and issues about the nature of religion and its place in society, as they are studied in a wide-range of fields, including anthropology, archaeology, history, and politics. This will give you an unparalleled opportunity to develop your ability to think clearly, critically and consistently, to understand varying points of view, to organise ideas and to work cooperatively with others - skills much in demand by employers. Explore questions about ethics, our place in the Universe, and the nature and role of religion, benefiting from Southampton’s complementary and world-leading expertise in Philosophy, Anthropology, Archaeology, History and Politics. Our extremely broad curriculum allows you to approach topics from multiple perspectives, with the flexibility to pursue your own interests. There is an emphasis on participation and discussion, with small-group teaching and one-on-one supervision from the first year.We also offer many opportunities to take modules outside your main degree subjects and to study abroad.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
