專業(yè)概況
在這里學什么？ This undergraduate programme includes performance, composition and musicology, and embraces a wide range of musical styles and traditions, from western classical music to commercial music, jazz and pop. We also offer options in music business, music therapy and community music. Our BA Music and Business Management develops your understanding of key management functions in addition to a musical education and gives you the opportunity to apply skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, numeracy and self-management. You will take a core programme of management sciences in years one and two, with a free choice of music options, and can choose from a wide range of options in both subjects in year three. You may take 25 per cent of your programme in an alternative subject. We are first in the UK for music research (REF, 2014). Our flexible course offers an innovative range of options across performance, composition, music history and criticism, ethnomusicology, music technology, music therapy and the music profession. We also offer opportunities for all students to work in professional environments and live music venues, including Turner Sims, famous for its professional concert series.

為來自中國的學生設計 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
