在這里學(xué)什么？ Our four-year integrated masters will provide you with a coherent programme of study which will offer you an extensive and in-depth knowledge and understanding of aspects of Marine Biology, and how it interrelates with the entire spectrum of marine science. Your course will develop your intellectual, practical and fieldwork skills in the collection, analysis, interpretation and understanding of marine biological and oceanographic data, and develop your critical and analytical problem-solving powers, especially in relation to the marine sciences, but also those which have a broader application. You will be based at the National Oceanography Centre Southampton (NOCS), a world-leading research centre, which allows you to go from classroom or lab to our research vessel in minutes. You will spend a significant amount of time on our research vessels carrying out boat-based field work and getting hands on experience out in the field. You will be able to put the knowledge and skills you develop into practice by carrying out your very own original research project in your final year at the heart of one of our specialist research groups.You will also have the opportunity to expand your study skills and broaden your field research beyond the environments found around the UK, with an optional tropical marine ecology field course in the Galapagos (working from the Charles Darwin Research Station) or alternatively at the Bermuda Institute of Ocean Science (BIOS). **** of Marine Biology students were either satisfied or very satisfied with the teaching on their course *University of Southampton analysis of unpublished NSS data 2020

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
