專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ This innovative programme is one of the few European studies courses based in a modern languages programme. It is available for EU and international students who wish to learn about British culture, society and the English language, with advanced English as the first language. In addition, you will study a second European language, which you can start from scratch. There is also the possibility of studying a non-European language such as Chinese as your second language.You will study the history and politics of European integration, with a particular focus on political, legal and economic structures and major themes related to society, ideology and culture. The programme is available for EU and international students who wish to learn about British culture, society and the English language, with advanced English as the first language. Modern languages and linguistics at Southampton is ranked fifth in the UK for the quality of our research (REF 2014). Teaching and learning is supported by three research centres, Transnational Studies, Global Englishes and Applied Language Research.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
