在這里學(xué)什么？ On this degree programme you'll immerse yourself in writing in many varieties of English, from the Early Medieval period to the present day, as well as from around the world. You'll explore the function and status of English around the world, alongside its structure, how it emerged as a language, how it continues to change, and how it varies across speakers its millions of speakers. The course consists of an extremely broad range of complementary topics taught across the departments of English and of Modern Languages and Linguistics and will provide you with specialist training and joint supervision from language and literature experts, all leading to your language and literature dissertation.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
