在這里學什么？ This is the only degree in the UK to combine economics and actuarial science. Actuarial science uses mathematical and statistical methods to assess risk and uncertainty. Actuaries are essential in industries such as insurance and finance. ? You'll learn to use the Bloomberg Trading Suite in your first year, and study alongside students on the related Mathematics and Actuarial Science degree.? This degree is accredited by the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA). You'll be eligible for 6 exemptions from the core principles - see course page for more info. You'll study core modules in microeconomics, macroeconomics and quantitative methods. You'll have the freedom to shape your studies by choosing optional modules to suit your interests or career plans - such as international banking, risk management or public economics. You can also choose modules from outside the Economics and Mathematics departments.You could also: ? Take part in a 2 week summer school in China? Spend a semester abroad? Spend a year in employment? Gain vital work experience on IBM's Business Innovation Programme

為來自中國的學生設計 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
