在這里學(xué)什么？ The MChem Chemistry degree will expand the breadth and depth of your core chemistry knowledge and prepare you for a research degree or a career specialising in chemistry. Optional modules will enable you to shape your degree to specialise in the areas that most inspire you, from chemical modelling to electrochemistry or pharmaceuticals. You may even choose to study topics outside chemistry, for example in mathematics, physics or biology. Throughout your degree you will develop the skills and knowledge you need to prepare for your fourth-year independent research project. You’ll study mini research projects in your second year and advanced practicals in year three, which will help you to better understand the different fields of research within chemistry. Your fourth-year project will see you working within one of our cutting-edge research groups, with the potential to have your work published and make a real impact in your chosen field. You’ll be able to complete your practical work in outstanding teaching laboratories. Following a recent multimillion-pound investment in our facilities, you’ll have access to state-of-the-art equipment and gain an excellent practical training. You’ll be able to use NMR and IR spectrometers and X-Ray diffraction facilities to analyse your own samples in the laboratories.This course is accredited by the Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) increasing the employability and enhancing the CVs of our graduates.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
