專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ Our foundation year offers you a rapid introduction to biology, chemistry and mathematics, equipping you with the knowledge, skills and attributes that needed to go on and successfully meet the challenges of our Biological Sciences degrees. You will develop your understanding of the principles on which the sciences are based and the mathematics underpinning the core science disciplines, which will enable you to apply scientific principles to solve problems. You will also undertake laboratory work and a variety of assignments to develop your critical thinking and problem solving.The Foundation Year is aimed at capable and motivated students who have not taken the typical A-level route or who have not studied the subjects required for direct entry to our degree courses, including mature or international students.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
