在這里學(xué)什么？ The MSci Archaeology is a four-year first degree in Archaeology suitable for those who wish to study archaeology in greater depth than a three-year BSc. Archaeology studies the human past through its material remains such as buildings, monuments, artefacts, biological remains, written sources and the landscape. The MSci Archaeology degree offers a unique perspective on the human past in a broad geographic and temporal context, providing you with an understanding of how the human species evolved, how human societies came into being, and how and why they changed over time. The course enables you to discover different periods and different peoples, expanding your knowledge of humans from their first appearance some two million years ago up to the present day.You will learn about the many methods we use to find, excavate and investigate archaeological sites and materials. This involves a wide range of techniques and critical thinking skills, combining aspects of both sciences and arts. Within the Msci Archaeology degree there is the option to further focus your study on a particular specialism via well defined curriculum pathways, typically including Ancient Civilization, Maritime Archaeology, Geomatics and Survey, Prehistory, and Osteoarchaeology.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
