專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ Find yourself immersed in the lives of our ancestors and be at the forefront of modern day historical understanding. Archaeology brings together diverse approaches to answer questions such as what our ancestors ate, what they wore, who they traded with, and the environments they lived in, while history at Southampton challenges you to interpret the history of past societies critically and imaginatively. You will study past societies through their archaeological remains and through textual sources. Modules, such as one on the medieval period, may be studied from both perspectives, or you can select modules from entirely different periods, such as the prehistoric era from Archaeology and the second world war from History.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
