專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ This one-year full-time course is integrated with a further five-year undergraduate degree, and will equip you with the knowledge, skills and attributes needed to successfully meet the challenges of our MEng Acoustical Engineering with Industrial Placement Year degree.It is aimed at those who are highly motivated but who don’t have the traditional qualifications of UK mathematics and physics A Levels. Successful completion of this Foundation Year guarantees progression to one of seventeen subject areas, including Acoustical Engineering. You will study full time through a combination of lectures, workshops, tutorials, and independent study, with three hours of laboratory practical work each week.The Industrial Placement Year is an additional year-long module that allows you to apply for a placement with an engineering-based organisation. The Industrial Placement Year will be taken between the second and third years of your main degree, extending your time at university to six years. During your year-long placement, you will fulfil the role of a trainee engineer on a full-time basis. Please note, MEng degrees with Foundation Year and Industrial Placement Year are not available to students who require Tier 4 visas.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 To be considered for a place on one of our undergraduate (bachelors) degrees, you will need: First year of a relevant degree from a high ranked Chinese university, with an average grade of at least 70-80% . National Senior High School Certificate (three years), achieving an overall Grade B (80%) with minimum B (80%) in subjects relevant to the chosen undergraduate course. Students completing two years of Senior High School should have achieved 85%, National Senior High School Certificate (for both two and three years), achieving an overall 85% with 85% in maths and physics. National Senior High School Certificate (three years) achieving 80% overall, with 80% in both biology and chemistry. Students completing two years should achieve 85% overall with 855 in biology and chemistry. IELTS 6.5 overall, with a minimum of 5.5 in all components.
