Overview
This course offers a broad range of advanced subjects to develop your knowledge across the mechanical engineering disciplines. If you’re a graduate engineer who wishes to pursue a career in industry using advanced engineering techniques, or want to gain in-depth knowledge for a career in research or academia, this course will help you do that.
We emphasise the application of computational methods and packages in mechanical engineering analysis, design and manufacture to solve complex engineering problems. You’ll choose from a wide variety of modules that allow you to tailor your studies to suit your own interests or career ambitions.
You’ll be taught in world-class facilities by researchers who are making breakthroughs in their fields. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain a wide range of knowledge and skills that will prepare you for an exciting and challenging career.

Assessment
You’ll be assessed using a range of techniques including case studies, technical reports, presentations, in-class tests, assignments and exams. Optional modules may also use alternative assessment methods.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students need to have 4 year Bachelor's degrees. The University of Leeds uses institutional lists when assessing applications from accepted Chinese institutions, and requirements may vary by school. Please check the appropriate listings below before making an application. For courses require 1st class, students need to have Minimum of 80%. For courses require 2.1, students need to have Minimum of 75%. For courses require 2.2, students need to have Minimum of 70%. Minimum qualifications include: IELTS (International English Language Testing System) an overall band of 6.5 with no less than 6.0 in each component skill.
