The Master of Public Health in Nutritional Sciences provides interdisciplinary training with a strong grounding in research and evidence-based nutritional sciences and public health.
Highlights
Earn an MPH while completing RDN training. At UW, you may apply to both MPH and RDN training programs and complete a cohesive curriculum that integrates degree requirements, coursework, and the internship required to become an RDN.
MPH Common Core curriculum. Enroll in in the program to start autumn 2020 and beyond to take new MPH Common Core curriculum, available to all MPH students in the School of Public Health.
Faculty. Work with our core, interdisciplinary, and clinical faculty who are recognized as national and international experts in the areas of epidemiology, food systems, health policy, program planning and evaluation, dietetics, and public health nutrition.
Top-ranked School of Public Health. The program’s location within an accredited School of Public Health lends a systems perspective to our curriculum and teaching philosophy and supports strong linkages with state and local public health agencies and programs.
Student Learning Objectives
By the end of this practicum, the student will be able to:
Describe the mission and unique contribution of the practicum’s sponsoring agency to public health.
Demonstrate collaboration and teamwork with community-based partners.
Present a professional poster that communicates the objectives, methods, results, and conclusions from the practicum experience.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Prospective graduate students must meet the following minimum requirements: Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S.1or its equivalent from a foreign institution; Have earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. Other English Language Requirements: 580 paper-based TOEFL.
