Our MSW program prepares graduates for leadership and direct-practice positions in a host of professional settings, ranging from health, aging and mental health to public education, multicultural communities and nonprofit or government agencies.
We offer three distinct degree paths—Advanced Standing, Day
MSW Advanced Standing Program
Our 10-month full-time MSW Advanced Standing Program and our new 17-month part-time program is for applicants who have an undergraduate degree in social work or social welfare. After completing required coursework in the summer, both program options allow students to complete their degree requirements more quickly and to focus on the area of social work they feel most passionate about. The part-time option is ideal for students who want to continue in their current employment. In some cases, students’ worksites may qualify for their field-education placement.
MSW Day Program
This traditional graduate full-time day program, completed over a two-year period, combines classroom learning with hands-on fieldwork. Courses focus on social work history, professional identity, policy, and social justice, and build core social work practice skills across systems levels and with diverse populations.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Prospective graduate students must meet the following minimum requirements: Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S.1or its equivalent from a foreign institution; Have earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. Other English Language Requirements: 580 paper-based TOEFL.
