The program is accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. Upon successful completion, the program awards a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry and the UW Graduate School awards a Master of Science in Dentistry (MSD).
Mission Statement
The Department of Pediatric Dentistry shares the University’s overall mission to generate and disseminate knowledge and to serve the community. Through its exemplary educational, research and service programs the Department:
- Educates pediatric dentists for a lifetime of continuous learning and leadership;
- Generates new knowledge through basic and clinical research;
- Promotes effective preventive measures to ensure a lifetime of oral health; and
- Collaborates with other disciplines and organizations to develop policies to increase access to oral health care for all people.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Prospective graduate students must meet the following minimum requirements: Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S.1or its equivalent from a foreign institution; Have earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. Other English Language Requirements: 580 paper-based TOEFL.
