Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a growing discipline with a presence in both psychology and education. ABA has a rich history of affecting meaningful change through the application of behavioral principles on both systems and individual levels. The University of Washington's ABA program is designed to prepare professionals to use the science of applied behavior analysis to help improve the lives of children and adults with disabilities.
The ABA Program in the UW College of Education offers both an on campus and a distance education option.
Students who become BCBAs typically work with individuals and caregivers in homes, clinics, and schools to affect socially significant behavior change. At the University of Washington, we place great value on the applied nature of ABA, providing ongoing opportunities for students to engage in skill development and collaboration with colleagues in the fields of education and psychology. With an emphasis on socially valid assessment and intervention for both the acquisition and reduction of behavior, the UW ABA program prepares qualified professionals to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the individuals who they serve.
In addition to offering the VCS, both the on campus and the online program offer a BACB approved Intensive Practicum supervised by a university-affiliated BCBA. Successful completion of this Intensive Practicum, in addition to completion of the BACB verified course sequence, allows students to apply to sit for the BACB Exam.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Prospective graduate students must meet the following minimum requirements: Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S.1or its equivalent from a foreign institution; Have earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. Other English Language Requirements: 580 paper-based TOEFL.
