MEDEX Northwest, the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Washington School of Medicine offers a Master of Clinical Health Services degree (MCHS). All students who complete the program successfully also earn a Certificate of Completion, which qualifies them to take the national certification examination.
Interested applicants will apply to the Seattle, WA, Spokane, WA, Tacoma, WA, Anchorage, AK or Kona, HI campus locations.
MEDEX Northwest has taken a competency-based approach to curriculum design since it opened in 1969. The two primary components of the curriculum are the classroom (known as didactic) phase and the clinical phase. Each section spans approximately one year, including an additional quarter of material preparing them for advanced clinical and leadership roles, for a total of 27 months and 162 credits.
Program timing:
The MEDEX master’s program will be a total of nine (9) quarters. The second summer quarter will begin with an on-campus intensive in Seattle, followed by six weeks of online course participation to complete the quarter.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Prospective graduate students must meet the following minimum requirements: Hold a baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S.1or its equivalent from a foreign institution; Have earned at least a 3.0 grade-point-average (on a 4 point scale) for the last 90 graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits. Other English Language Requirements: 580 paper-based TOEFL.
