The Master of Economic Policy’s rigorous training in policy economics will attracts outstanding students to the University. In particular influential economic policymakers in prominent organs of national executive government (especially PM&C and Treasury)have found the MEc Pol’s focus on national policy issues very rewarding. The degrees accommodation of a focus on regional economic policy (through coursework choices and research) is worth stressing.

apply economics to policy formation and evaluation;
understand the issues involved in the coordination of economic policies at national and international levels;
access the academic literature on economic policy;
undertake independent research in economic theory at the graduate level and provide economic intuition for the results;
analyze the economic effects of policy changes and to communicate them as a professional economist in business or government.

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must present a Bachelor degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0. Academic IELTS overall score of 6.5 with at least 6 in each component of the test; TOEFL internet based test overall score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening; TOEFL paper based test score of 570 with TWE score of 4.5; Cambridge CAE Advanced score of 176 overall with at least 169 in all sub skills; PTE Academic -an overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 55 in each of the communicative skills.
