The Master of Demography (Advanced) is the only degree of its kind offered in Australia. The degree provides students with an opportunity to research population issues in Australia’s leading demography program. Students will experience research-led coursework, with a focus on applying learning to real-world scenarios. The degree will equip students with cutting-edge skills in demographic techniques, research and writing, culminating with a research thesis. Graduates will emerge with the skills to undertake demographic analysis and apply these to societal issues. The degree is available in-person, with many courses available online or in-person. Two features of the program are the scenario-based learning approach and access to leading researchers. Both in-person and online courses will have these two key features as central components of the student experience.

Academic IELTS overall score of 6.5 with at least 6 in each component of the test; TOEFL internet based test overall score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening; TOEFL paper based test score of 570 with TWE score of 4.5; Cambridge CAE Advanced score of 176 overall with at least 169 in all sub skills; PTE Academic -an overall score of 64 with a minimum score of 55 in each of the communicative skills.
