I have studied Chinese for over 8 years, 4 of which in Nanjing, during which I finished my degree in Chinese at Nanjing University, and in the process acquired a great love of foreign languages. Through this hobby I have been able to translate my love of Chinese into a means of helping young learners fall in love with English, and hope that all of my students will reach a point where they are actively seeking to learn the language and think of English not as a chore, but as a hobby they look forward toimproving upon.

During class I try to focus on English words that they would use in normal conversations and make things as relatable as possible to young learners, and aim to createa good balance of fun and education.

Hello, my name is Khal Webster. I have joined the school in February 2017, and I am looking forward progressing my career with EF. I am originally from Leicester in the UK, but I have lived in many places around the UK. I studied Earth Science at the University of Glasgow, with an exchange year at the University of Melbourne in Australia. I have previously worked in the waste recycling, water treatment and energy industries before I trained to be an English teacher in Liverpool.I have come to China with the aim of becoming a successful English teacher and I am proud to be working for EF.

Hello! My name is Daniel and l\'m from Ireland. I graduated from University College Cork with a degree in Commerce with Chinese Studies. During this course I had the opportunity to live in Shanghai for one year and this is when I fell in love with Chinese culture and its people. I have been teaching with EF Nanjing for the last 3 years and am currently Senior Teacher and I hope to keep moving up through the company. I hope to use all of the experience I have gained and my enthusiasm to help children become comfortable and confident with their use of the English language.

Hello, my name is Chris, I was originally born in Singapore as that is where my mother is from, but I have lived in England all of my life.As I have an Asian connection, I have always loved and appreciated Chinese culture, and as soon as I finished my Masters at university I did a CELTA and jumped on the plane to join the EF family. I love helping people out and challenging myself and I believe teaching my students and seeing them progress will fulfill both of these wants.

I enjoy teaching because it\'s rewarding to learn more and more about the profession and watch myself and the students improve. An even bigger reason though is how much I enjoy bonding with the students and developing strong relationships with them. The longer I work here the closer I become to the kids and genuinely enjoy learning with them at EF,

The methodology I use varies depending on what I want to achieve in each individual class. Also, different students require different approaches. My goal each class is that the students speak more English than I do! I encourage good classroom atmosphere and good relationships between thew hole class, each class should be a little family.

After University travel became one of my priorities. I want to live amongst different cultures and societies while improving myself both professionally and spiritually. I watched a lot of documentaries about China growing up. I came here to experience the wonder first hand and to understand more about China.
