Headmaster Teda International School (TIS) was established in 1995 by the governing body of the Tianjin Economic Development Area (TEDA), in Tianjin, China, to support the local community by providing access to an internationally accredited educational program. All students at TIS are guided towards success by encouraging them to explore Teda International School’s exceptional academic, athletic, leadership, community-outreach, and visual & performing arts programs.As the hub for expat activities in TEDA, TIS has staked its reputation on providing academic excellence by offering outstanding early childhood, primary and secondary educational programs including a wide range of Advanced Placement (AP) offerings. These programs are supported by an extensive set of extracurricular offerings for students of all grades. TIS also organizes and hosts more than twenty intra- and inter-school events throughout the year. More than just friendly and fun competition, the TIS House program promotes school pride, student leadership, responsibility, initiative, teamwork, and cultural understanding.
