緊鑼密鼓的線上課程也沒有阻擋學生們參加各類競賽活動的熱情，我們陸續(xù)收到China Thinks Big全球華人創(chuàng)新研究大挑戰(zhàn)以及USAD美國學術十項全能賽組委會發(fā)來的獲獎函，恭喜上海德英樂學院學生獲得相關獎項!
China Thinks Big全球華人創(chuàng)新研究大挑戰(zhàn)
在剛過去不久的CTB全國賽中，SDA的兩只隊伍共計10位學生分別獲得了全國賽Top 5%及Top50%，直接晉級了全球總決賽。她們分別是：Christina Lao、William Wu、Harry Zhang、Sherry Pan、Todd Fu、Mandy Wu、Eliza Zhou、Janet Zheng、Krystal Yang.

USAD美國學術十項全能比賽
2020年度的USAD也在上周末拉下了帷幕，我校共計一只隊伍參賽，最終斬獲一金兩銀一銅的成績，參賽的同學有：Sophie Yang、Christina Lao、 Liz Li、 Elain Zhang、William Wu、Roger Wang、Mandy Wu、Yuri Xiu、Serena Wang，同時恭喜：
William Wu 寫作--銀獎
Christina Lao 演講--金獎/面試--銀獎/藝術--銅獎

這是我第二次參加USAD，也是次帶隊參賽。去年參加USAD結束之后，下定了決心來年再戰(zhàn)，所以我來了。
對于我來說，USAD不僅僅是一次比賽，更是一種珍貴的學習體驗。十門課的跨學科學習使我們全方位的了解一件事情，并融匯貫穿每一門課中所學到的知識。即使沒有學習全部的學科，我們依然能夠從自己喜歡的學科中學習到更多，更全面的內容。
作為USAD Chapter Leader，我很高興與另外七位學生一同參與了USAD 2020。在這漫長的準備過程中，大多數(shù)的學生都積極地參與了學習seminar和自主學習，為USAD比賽付出了珍貴的時間和精力。
作為隊長，也作為和大家一同走完USAD全程的成員，很榮幸與大家走完了艱難的一程，我衷心地為參加了本屆USAD的選手們感到驕傲。
無論這次是否拿到了獎，那些無數(shù)個熬夜禿頭的凌晨，肝了幾百頁reading而學到的知識，永遠不會它們失去價值。
希望我們來年還能在USAD的賽場上相見。
This was my second time to participate in USAD, and it was the first time for me to be a leader of USAD Chapter in SDA. After joining the USAD last year, I made up my mind to fight again next year, so I came.
For me, USAD is not only a competition, but also a precious learning experience. The interdisciplinary study of ten courses enables us to understand one thing in all directions and to integrate the knowledge learned in each course. Even without learning the whole subject, we can still learn more from the subject we like, and try to learn the subject more holistically.
As a USAD Chapter Leader, I'm happy to join USAD 2020 with other seven students in SDA. Most of the students actively participated in the learning seminar and self-study during this long preparation process, and paid their precious time and energy for the USAD competition.
As a captain, as well as a member of the USAD team, it is a great honor to walk with the other seven students through the difficult journey. I'm sincerely proud of all the participants in the USAD2020.
Please remember that the time we spent, the knowledge we learnt, and the unique and precious learning experience we got will not lose their values no matter you have won a prize or not this time.
I hope we'll meet again in USAD next year.

對我來說，目前為止的CTB的經歷呢，最有意義的可能就是能體驗到一個“隊長”的工作，或者說，作為一個團隊的核心成員之一的感受。畢竟有著組織小隊的責任，以及在截止日期前動員大家一起肝論文的義務—開個玩笑。雖然有時候會因為一些額外的責任感到辛苦，但記住的終歸是大家相互支持，共同努力的感動。我也有幸通過這次競賽更多地了解到小隊里的同學們，更深地了解到“團隊”的意義。
As far until now, the biggest fortune this CTB experience has brought me, is the privilege of being the “captain”. That is, act as one of the essential members of a team. After all, I was given the responsibility to organise the team, and rush everyone to work before deadline—just kidding. Although there were times I feel stressed of the extra responsibilities, what I remember at last will always be the team supporting each other and endeavouring towards one mutual goal. I’ve also been given the opportunity of knowing my team better, knowing “team” better.

數(shù)月來的備賽是一路艱辛的長跑。同時準備兩場歷時長且耗費精力巨大的比賽，就是有些時候在宿舍一個人悶頭從九點備賽到十二點，備賽手冊翻了一頁又一頁，筆記寫了一張又一張紙，面對著成堆的資料卻總覺得來不及;也是雙休日趕完了課內的作業(yè)，匆匆忙忙一邊整理行李箱，一邊花幾個小時修改幾萬字研究報告付出的心血。面對的不僅僅是隨之而來的壓力和緊迫感，還有課內外時間安排上的沖突，和真正到了賽前的緊張與不安。所幸最終一切都值得，這段經歷也讓自己成長和感激。
Preparing for the competitions is a long and arduous journey, especially when it comes to prepare for two long and time-consuming contests. I can recall the moments that I stayed at the dorm and reviewed the materials from 9 to 12, when I hardly believed I could make it despite going through hundreds of pages and taking tons of notes; it feels the same way when I was packing my suitcase to the dorm and spending hours on revising the 20-page research report at weekends. It’s not only the pressure and sense of urgency that I face, but also the conflicts on my schedule with my schoolwork and extracurricular activities, as well as the anxiety before the really contest. Fortunately, in the end, everything is worth it. And this experience makes me grow and appreciate as well.
