1. Listen to English Radio（廣播）
You can receive English-language radio in most countries. Two international networks are the BBC World Service (from the UK) and Voice of America (from the USA). Both of them have special programmes for learners of English. You can find information about times and frequencies for your country on their websites.
在大多數(shù)國家，你都可以收聽英語廣播。兩個國際網(wǎng)站分別是BBC英國廣播節(jié)目和VOA美國之音。他們都有為英語學(xué)習(xí)者編排的專門的英語學(xué)習(xí)課程。你可以在他們的網(wǎng)站上找到關(guān)于你所在國家能接收的時間和調(diào)頻。

2. Watch English Television（電視）
TV is an excellent resource for hearing and listening to English. The pictures help you understand what is being said. If you don't have access to English-language TV, you may be able to watch TV on Internet.
電視節(jié)目是一個聽英語的絕 佳資源。畫面可以幫助你理解所聽到的東西。如果你沒法接收到說英語的頻道，你可以用網(wǎng)絡(luò)電視來觀看。
3. Watch/Listen to English by Internet（互聯(lián)網(wǎng)）
It is now a lot easier to hear English by Internet. If you're reading this at your computer or mobile device, you can probably listen to some English-language radio news right now, without even moving! And of course you can find endless videos in English on YouTube and similar websites (although the English is not always easy to follow). Check out our page on links to radio by Internet.
如今通過互聯(lián)網(wǎng)來聽英語實在是簡單多了。如果你正在電腦前閱讀此文，那么你可以不挪窩就立刻聽到英語廣播新聞！但首先你需要安裝一個特別軟件在電腦中，即播放器，這樣才能在網(wǎng)上收聽英語廣播。在多數(shù)的網(wǎng)站上，支持以下兩款軟件：來自RealNetworks公司的RealPlayer和來自微軟的Windows Media Player。別擔(dān)心，這兩款軟件都是免費(fèi)的，而且很可能在你在電腦上已經(jīng)安裝好了。

4. Listen to Songs in English（歌曲）
Songs in English are everywhere, even on foreign-language radio and TV stations. Listen to them often. Buy some MP3s or CDs, or make recordings, and try to write the words for an entire song. But choose one that is not too difficult. That means it should be reasonably slow, and with real words sung clearly. Some pop songs are very unclear and are difficult even for native English-speakers to understand fully! Here are some easy songs for English learners.
英文歌曲隨處可見，甚至非英語國家的廣和播電視都是。買磁帶或CD或者自己錄音，聽著這些歌曲并且嘗試去把整首歌的歌詞寫下來。不過還是從一些并不太難的歌曲開始。這是說歌曲應(yīng)該速度適當(dāng)，并且吐字清晰。而一些搖滾英文歌曲發(fā)音含糊得連當(dāng)?shù)厝硕己茈y全部聽明白。
5. Go to Cinemas with English-language Movies（電影）
Outside the English-speaking world, many large cities have cinemas that show films in English, usually with sub-titles. Make it a habit to go to these films. If you need to read the subtitles, at least you'll be hearing English even if you don't understand it.
非英語國家中，很多大城市的影院都常播放英語電影，且多數(shù)時候是帶有字幕的。養(yǎng)成去電影院看英文電影的習(xí)慣吧。就算你需要看字幕，至少同時也在聽英語，哪怕你并不能聽明白。

6. Use Video for English Listening Practice（錄像）
You can use video to watch films from Internet or that you buy or borrow. If there are subtitles, you can cover them with paper (which you can remove if you really don't understand after listening several times). And sometimes you can use video to record programmes from television and then watch them several times to improve your understanding.
錄像有一個很大的優(yōu)點(diǎn)，就是你可以反復(fù)播放。你可以用錄像機(jī)看你買的或者租借的錄影帶。如果影片中有字幕，你可以用一張紙遮住它們（如果你反復(fù)聽了很多次后還是無法明白影片在講什么，那么你可以把它拿掉）。而且你還可以用錄像機(jī)錄下電視上英語節(jié)目，通過反復(fù)多看幾次來提高自己的理解。
7. Get English-speaking Friends（朋友）
Try to make friends with English-speaking people so that you can practise your English through conversation. Of course, this will improve your speaking as well as your listening. And if you don't have a lot of time to go out and meet people, at least you can chat a little by telephone.
試著交幾個說英語的朋友，這樣你就可以通過交談來練習(xí)英語。毫無疑問，此時你的口語和聽力都會得到鍛煉。而且哪怕你沒空去和他們會面，至少也能通過進(jìn)行點(diǎn)交流。
