On March 4th, the St David's Day Business Reception hosted by the Shanghai office of the Welsh government. The students of CAVC CHINA were invited to play "Calon Lan" at the invitation and received a warm welcome from all the guests.
3月4日，由威爾士政府上海辦事處主辦的“圣大衛(wèi)日商務(wù)招待會”在浦江沿岸的璀璨燈光下隆重舉行?？ǖ戏蚬珜W(xué)中國校區(qū)的學(xué)生有幸受到邀請，在宴會中為大家?guī)韯勇牭暮铣枨禖alon Lan》，并受到了全場嘉賓的熱烈歡迎。
St David's Day, the national Day of Wales, is celebrated on March 1, and the reception is being held as part of the Welsh government's celebration in China.
3月1日是威爾士國慶日——圣大衛(wèi)日（St.David's Day），此次商務(wù)招待會也被視為威爾士政府在中國舉辦的慶?；顒又?。
John Edwards,the British Consul General in Shanghai,said that the goal of this Welsh business delegation is to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China.
英國駐上?？傤I(lǐng)事吳僑文先生表示，威爾士有著悠久的歷史和文化背景，具有世界高端制造能力，此次威爾士企業(yè)代表團(tuán)的目標(biāo)就是加強(qiáng)與中國的交流和合作。
In the past years, more cultural activities have been carried out between the two countries. And he added that "A new international strategy is being developed to link Wales further with the key international markets including China. "
自威爾士政府與中國文化部簽署諒解備忘錄以來, 兩國之間開展了更多的文化活動。他還表示，“目前威爾士政府正在制定新的國際戰(zhàn)略，將威爾士與包括中國在內(nèi)的主要國際市場進(jìn)一步起來”。
He also highlighted the milestone in education of CAVC opening a new campus in Yiwu and other places.

Over the years, the Welsh government has been dedicated to the celebration of St David's Day in China, and welcome more and more new friends to celebrate it together.
多年以來，威爾士政府一直致力于在中國舉辦圣大衛(wèi)日慶?；顒?，歡迎有越來越多的新朋友加入其中, 一同慶祝威爾士人民最重要的節(jié)日。
Perhaps this is just a stage experience;another kind of feeling to the western culture; or they may learn something from it. Whatever the harvest, I think, this is the meaning of compatibility between Chinese and western culture.
