Julio Labra
博格思藝術(shù)老師
加州拉古納藝術(shù)學(xué)院 美術(shù)碩士
俄亥俄州辛辛那提藝術(shù)學(xué)院 美術(shù)學(xué)士
Labra教授曾在很多地方任教,包括:南加州大學(xué)拉古納學(xué)院、圣安娜學(xué)院、海岸線學(xué)院和克蘭學(xué)院,他主要教授藝術(shù)和設(shè)計(jì),專業(yè)是油畫(huà)和繪畫(huà)。他還曾在拉古納藝術(shù)博物館暑期項(xiàng)目中任教,并和副館長(zhǎng)一起為該項(xiàng)目設(shè)計(jì)了課程。
Labra教授同時(shí)也是一位藝術(shù)家,在加州圣安娜以外地區(qū)工作。他有個(gè)人畫(huà)廊,名字叫“B Minus Studios”,位于桑多拉歷史建筑。他開(kāi)辦過(guò)9次展覽,還曾擔(dān)任2015年洛斯年度假日展覽評(píng)委。
他以RawSalt的名義舉辦過(guò)個(gè)人畫(huà)展,“超現(xiàn)實(shí)”。他的作品曾在多地展出,包括:拉古納藝術(shù)博物館、DAX畫(huà)廊、五列畫(huà)廊。他還曾在威騰堡大學(xué)舉辦過(guò)個(gè)人畫(huà)展。
Labra先生是加州拉古納藝術(shù)學(xué)院藝術(shù)與設(shè)計(jì)專業(yè)美術(shù)碩士,俄亥俄州辛辛那提藝術(shù)學(xué)院插圖藝術(shù)專業(yè)美術(shù)學(xué)士并在2014年發(fā)表了畢業(yè)演講。在求學(xué)期間,Labra先生去過(guò)意大利學(xué)習(xí)文藝復(fù)興前期和巴羅克時(shí)期的藝術(shù)家。他創(chuàng)作中的構(gòu)圖和色彩都源于貝爾尼尼和卡拉瓦喬兩位藝術(shù)家的啟發(fā)。他對(duì)考古學(xué)和人類學(xué)也有濃厚的興趣。在意大利期間,曾經(jīng)深度研究過(guò)17世紀(jì)的牧師,并探索過(guò)在瑪雅文明中毀滅的伯利茲和瓜地馬拉。

Steven Cook

Born and raised in San Diego, California, Steven Cook has a passion to share his Physical Education expertise with students everywhere. He is a graduate of California State University San Marcos with a major in Economics and an ambassador of physical fitness and wellness. He competed at the high school level in football, basketball, volleyball, and baseball, and at the collegiate level in swimming. Mr. Cook's vision is to create a culture of students who desire to move now and forever. His mission is to educate students about the importance of fitness and the effects it has on personal wellness, and to cultivate healthy persons with positive mindsets toward physical activity. Students will be empowered with the tools and knowledge to engage in a sustainable lifestyle of fitness and wellness.

Selina Saludes

我叫Selina Saludes,出生于加州威斯敏斯特地區(qū),在一個(gè)叫Nuevo的小鎮(zhèn)長(zhǎng)大。2003年我進(jìn)入加州浸會(huì)大學(xué)河濱分校學(xué)習(xí),求學(xué)期間,我還實(shí)現(xiàn)了在加州浸會(huì)大學(xué)女子足球隊(duì)當(dāng)守門(mén)員的夢(mèng)想。2006年我取得了學(xué)士學(xué)位,主修社會(huì)和行為科學(xué),輔修社會(huì)學(xué)。我意識(shí)到為年輕人在學(xué)校方面提供專業(yè)指導(dǎo)的迫切性,以及為他們提供人生中第二次機(jī)會(huì)的重要性,所以,本科畢業(yè)后我立即開(kāi)始攻讀碩士學(xué)位。
這是我在博格思加州學(xué)校服務(wù)的第二年,希望更好的為中國(guó)學(xué)生服務(wù),讓他們進(jìn)入理想的美國(guó)大學(xué)。
My name is Selina Saludes, born in Westminster Ca., and raised in a small town called Nuevo, Ca. Ready to take on life, I went to California State University, Monterey Bay in 2003. In addition to being accepted, I was able to pursue my dream and become part of the CSUMB Women’s Soccer team as a goalie. I completed my undergraduate studies in 2006 with my BA in Social and Behavioral Science, and a Minor in Sociology. I learned the urgency of what I could do in the field of school counseling for our youth, and I fell in love with being able to provide second chances for all youth alike. With almost no time in between, I quickly moved on to pursue my Master’s degree.
This is my second year in Pegasus, I wish I can support Chinese students better, and help them to enter their ideal American University.

Michael Millam

Michael Millam老師是一位藝術(shù)教育家,他在加州La Palma地區(qū)的Kennedy高中教授黑白攝影以及3D設(shè)計(jì)。執(zhí)教期間,Millam老師著重于將藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作融入生活。他教過(guò)的學(xué)生們?cè)趯W(xué)區(qū)的藝術(shù)展中每年都榮獲一等獎(jiǎng)和二等獎(jiǎng)。Millam老師還創(chuàng)建 了一個(gè)數(shù)碼攝影和傳統(tǒng)電影攝影相結(jié)合的藝術(shù)項(xiàng)目。
除了攝影課,Millam老師也在高中教授過(guò)陶藝課。為了更好地從事藝術(shù)教育,他之后又繼續(xù)攻讀了碩士學(xué)位。Millam老師除了教授學(xué)生,還為教師做培訓(xùn)。他曾在美國(guó)藝術(shù)教育研討會(huì)上作為課程發(fā)言人發(fā)言,也曾受邀作為網(wǎng)絡(luò)播客藝術(shù)主題節(jié)目的嘉賓。Millam老師還曾在視覺(jué)與表現(xiàn)藝術(shù)系作為系主任任職兩年。
Millam老師自己也在進(jìn)行藝術(shù)創(chuàng)作,因?yàn)樗嘈胖挥凶约翰粩嗟剡M(jìn)行創(chuàng)作才能體會(huì)到學(xué)生們創(chuàng)作時(shí)的糾結(jié)和抗?fàn)?,也才能進(jìn)一步完善自己的授課理念和授課方式。Millam老師對(duì)藝術(shù)充滿熱情,享受和妻子一起旅行、看電影、觀看曲棍球比賽,以及和兩只愛(ài)貓Vlad、Lily一起度過(guò)美好時(shí)光。
“作為藝術(shù)老師,我希望培養(yǎng)學(xué)生成為在藝術(shù)方面有自主性的學(xué)習(xí)者。我相信通過(guò)學(xué)習(xí)視覺(jué)藝術(shù),可以培養(yǎng)學(xué)生們的好奇心、合作意識(shí)、交流能力以及批判性思維能力,幫助他們成長(zhǎng)為21世紀(jì)主動(dòng)解決問(wèn)題的人?!?/p>
Michael Millam is an Art Educator who began his teaching career by sharing his passion for black and white photography and 3D Design at Kennedy High School in La Palma, California. While teaching at Kennedy, Mr. Millam focused on revamping and bringing the art program to life. Students expressed themselves artistically and won 1st and 2nd place at district art shows every year while he taught them. Mr. Millam built a solid hybrid digital photography and traditional film photography program.
After teaching Photo, Mr. Millam moved to a different high school to teach ceramics. He returned to school to work on his Masters to better advocate for art education. Mr. Millam has extended his role of a teacher to also become a master teacher and a presenter of curriculum at national art education conferences, and a guest on an art themed podcasts. Mr. Millam spent two years as the visual and performing arts department chair.
Mr. Millam works on his personal artwork as he feels that one must be a working artist to be able to connect with students and their artistic struggles as well as to constantly refine his own philosophy of teaching and the art making process. Mr. Millam is passionate about making art, enjoys traveling with his wife, going to the movies, hanging out with his two cats Vlad and Lily, and watching hockey.
“An artist teacher wishing to foster students to become self-motivated learners in the arts. I believe through the study of the visual arts we will foster students’ curiosity, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills to develop proactive problem solvers in the 21st century.”

Caitlin Meyer

Caitlin Meyer is a music educator and classical flutist from Connecticut, USA. She holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Education from the University of New Hampshire and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Saint Joseph. She has thoroughly enjoyed teaching all forms of music, including concert band and choir, world drumming, music theory, and composition, to K-12 students in America, Tanzania, and Israel. In her tenure as a music educator, Caitlin’s students have gone on to win several prestigious national and international competitions, and her groups have performed all over the world, including Carnegie Hall and The Vatican. Outside of teaching music, her passions include curriculum design, historical costuming, languages, and travel!

Kulani Escalante

Kulani Escalante老師熱愛(ài)閱讀、旅行、木刻,并享受與家人共度美好時(shí)光。
A native of California, Kulani Escalante earned her bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from California State University, San Bernardino. Soon after graduating, Mrs. Escalante was hired by a media and marketing firm, where she personally managed websites, large multimedia projects, and the social media marketing of several American celebrities. In recent years, she combined her creativity with her entrepreneurial spirit, and started her own business, where she applied her artistic and woodworking skills to create beautiful wooden crafts.
Mrs. Escalante is a proud mother who enjoys reading, spending time with her family, traveling, and of course, woodworking.

David Saludes
