在這里學(xué)什么？ Overview
Be part of our Global Sustainability Institute and learn in partnership with the Eden Project. You'll meet sustainability researchers from a range of disciplines and learn from inspirational practitioners, as well as gaining hands-on experience. This unique blend of distance learning with residential stays in Cambridge and in Cornwall provides an opportunity to study while working, without relocating.
We’ll give you the knowledge, skills and critical thinking tools to lead the way to a more sustainable future in business, government and society.
In the first trimester the modules use a systems approach to give you leading-edge knowledge of key sustainability challenges, and of the scientific findings and policy issues that underlie them. Delivered as a blend of online material and week-long ‘residentials’ you’ll develop your ability to understand complex environmental, economic and social systems and apply this knowledge to help create a more sustainable future.
In the second trimester you’ll learn how to apply this knowledge in different contexts, as a sustainable business and for a sustainable economy. You’ll also spend two residential weeks learning and living at the Eden Project in Cornwall, experiencing first-hand how it functions as a world-renowned visitor attraction, educational center and sustainable business.
Careers
When our students graduate they take up a wide variety of careers. Some use their prior experience and return to the business or sector they were familiar with, working with their new sustainability perspective to change it from the inside. Others use the MSc as an opportunity to start a new career or as the bridge to a change in career, becoming sustainability professionals in businesses, charities, governments and education. Some of our graduates use the MSc to set up or grow their own sustainable business or as a stepping stone to PhD research.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Students need to have 70% final mark in a 4-year Bachelors awarded by a recognised university. Our standard entry criteria for postgraduate courses is IELTS 6.5 or equivalent, with nothing lower than 5.5 in any of the four elements (listening, speaking, reading and writing).
