Our accelerated 2 year Primary Education degree will prepare you to join teacher training in just 2 years, instead of the traditional 3 year degree. This 2 year accelerated degree is designed to be the first step towards a rewarding career in education, and possibly becoming a primary school teacher. With a balance of theory and reflection on current practice, you’ll graduate with a thorough understanding of education history, policy and current professional practice in the primary school classroom in areas such as developing children’s mathematical and literacy skills, the wider curriculum subjects, lesson planning, and classroom management.Our course is designed for those looking for a career working with or for children of primary school age and/or their families. The key focus is on children of primary school age and includes educational, health, welfare, psychological, sociological, legal, philosophical, political and economic perspectives.You’ll gain the knowledge and understanding you need to prepare lessons, manage classroom behaviour and teach literacy and numeracy. You’ll have opportunities to observe teaching practice in local schools and on completion of the course you’ll be ideally placed to gain a place on a postgraduate teacher training course.Our intense 2 year accelerated degree allows you access to join the workforce or initial teacher training (ITT) in 2 years rather than the traditional 3 years. After graduation we can support you to find a place in teacher training with our partners in Essex and Cambridgeshire. As it is an accelerated degree you could also access postgraduate degrees in Education, Student Affairs, Early Childhood Education and Special Educational Needs faster.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Grades AAA at A level taken within two academic years prior to the time of application to include Chemistry or Biology; and one of either Biology, Chemistry, Maths or Physics, plus one other.A Level resit grades at AAA will be accepted taken within two academic years prior to the time of application.
