在這里學什么？ Studying the Philosophy major at NCH offers an opportunity to be taught by some of the foremost scholars in the field. Talented staff and a wider-ranging curriculum ensure that students engage with their course material in a very hands-on way. From Plato to Nietzsche, from advanced ethics to metaphysics, and from politics to logic, philosophy students are challenged with a rigorous curriculum aimed at academic growth and intellectual creativity.The Philosophy with Art History BA will equip you to analyse and make arguments with clarity, rigour, and originality. The Philosophy major will give you the ability to engage with central questions, arguments, theories and texts concerning the world and our place within it. Learn about the logic behind language and meaning, while studying topics such as ethics and metaphysics. Particularly of interest for you will be the third year philosophy course in Aesthetics – studying the philosophy of beauty and the philosophy of art, ranging from Plato’s claim that we should rid ourselves of all poets to Hegel and Arthur Danto’s assertion that art has ended. We do not accept native language A Levels as part of your A Level offering.
