在這里學(xué)什么？ Take advantage of the opportunity to study English Literature in London – the birthplace of countless literary movements and authors. NCH offers courses which combine the broad historical assessment of literature common to traditional English degrees, with a wider approach to where and how we encounter literary texts and cognate forms of art.Studying English at NCH will teach you to analyse texts in both a creative and a technical manner. You will study rhetoric and stylistics, engage with literary criticism, and learn to compare different texts and other art forms.The English programme at NCH is intended to bring rigour to a student’s thinking, and advance students’ powers of engagement with both literary texts and the issues with which they engage. You’ll take courses covering literature such as political speeches, the plays of Shakespeare, and responses to them.
