Course overview
Studying Theology will enable you to engage the 21st-century world with a variety of Christian perspectives. Our course will encourage you to think critically about Christian belief and the Bible, and you will engage with the core subjects of philosophy, theology, biblical studies and ethics.

You will have the opportunity to develop your own interests and engage contemporary questions with theological texts and traditions.
Assessment
Assessment is mainly by coursework, such as essays, portfolios, presentations and seminars. A very few modules have a short exam.
Job prospects
This course develops skills in empathy, cultural sensitivity, and religious literacy valued by employers. Students go on to work in a number of professions, including teaching, publishing, marketing and advertising, the civil service, banking and financial business, health and social care, counselling, customer service, church and youth work, and ordained ministry.
