專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ This is a four year programme that will allow you to qualify in two fields of nursing. Your first field will be adult nursing. The adult nursing field cares for people over the age of 18 who are ill, recovering from illness or accident, or adapting to life-changing disabilities and long-term conditions. You will learn how to provide person centred care to adults meeting the needs of individuals through acute and long-term illness with both physical and mental health conditions, promote their health and wellbeing, communicate effectively with professional colleagues, and provide sensitive support for the individual and their families.Your second field will be one of the following: child nursing; learning disability nursing; mental health nursing. You will choose your second field prior to the end of your second year. To help you decide which field to choose, you will be given the opportunity to experience all four fields of nursing in your first two years.
