在這里學(xué)什么？ Microorganisms can cause a wide variety of diseases (from influenza to malaria), can destroy crops and yet, we could not survive without them. The increase in antibiotic resistant bacteria is now one of the major concerns in the health service. The microbiologist has a major influence on the production of many foods and drinks – both in production of fermentation products and the prevention of food spoilage. During this course you will learn how these fascinating organisms are able to have such a vital role in all aspects of our lives.
