專業(yè)概況
在這里學(xué)什么？ The Nursing Foundation year will explore the theoretical aspects of health and nursing. You will examine key health and nursing concepts while having the opportunity to develop the academic and research skills required to enable you to succeed in your nursing degree. The course will prepare you to become a registered adult nurse and you will learn how to assess, plan and evaluate the needs of the patient with complex acute and long-term illness, promote health and wellbeing, and communicate effectively with professional colleagues and service users. You will learn to become an adaptable, flexible practitioner who will be able to lead care, supervise others and work in a demanding and rapidly changing environment.**Please note:** upon successful completion of the foundation year, you will progress onto the BN Adult Nursing programme at any of the four University of Chester sites which currently deliver Nursing degrees (Chester, Crewe, Warrington or Wirral). However, the University is seeking approval from the NMC to deliver a BN Adult Nursing degree at University Centre Shrewsbury from September 2021. If this is granted then you will be given the option to continue your Nursing studies at University Centre Shrewsbury.
