Programme Objectives
The MA Education Studies programme will offer a course of study that is academically challenging and relevant to a wide range of educational contexts. The aim is to enhance students’ knowledge and conceptual understanding of a range of contemporary educational issues. A wide variety of teaching methods is used during the programme; including lectures, seminars and tutorials. The degree programme is assessed using a variety of methods; including essay, report, presentation, and dissertation.
The main educational aims of the programme are:
Provide a supportive learning environment appropriate to postgraduate study and research
Offer a programme that is academically challenging and relevant to a wide range of educational contexts
Enhance the knowledge and conceptual understanding of a range of educational issues
Share innovative and inspirational experiences that stimulate learning
Present a critical framework within which students can develop their own responses to contemporary educational issues
Contribute to the continuing professional development of students on each pathway – teachers and lecturers, leaders and managers
There are two pathways available in the programme, one for ‘Teachers and Lecturers’ and one for ‘Leaders and Managers’. Each pathway consists of four taught modules and a dissertation.
Award
Students who successfully complete the programme will be awarded the Master of Arts Education Studies from Bangor University, UK.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must possess one of the following: A second lower class Bachelor's degree (any discipline) or other qualifications or appropriate experience recognized as being the equivalent of an honours degree. English Language Requirements: Possess a minimum C6 grade in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or IELTS score of 6.0 (with no element below 5.5) or Completed MDIS Professional Certificate in English (PCIE) or Pearson Test of English Academic with a minimum score for each individual element of 51 and 52 overall or Cambridge Certification in Advanced English (CAE) with Grade C or above or Equivalent.
