If you are interested in a career as a theatre teacher at the high school, middle school, or elementary level, Texas State University offers one of the most comprehensive Teacher Certification programs available.
Our rigorous curriculum covers every aspect of theatre performance and production, provides a solid foundation in theatre history and analysis, offers a broad exposure to process drama, include thorough coverage of pedagogy and education theory, and feature extensive classroom experience at the high school, middle school, and/or elementary levels.
Texas State University offers BFA Certification majors the unique experience to participate in a wide variety of professional development opportunities that will help cultivate skills necessary as a future theatre educator.

為來(lái)自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must have completed a high school. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) minimum score of 550 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test), or 78 total score (internet-based test) with the following 3 out of 4 minimum section scores: 19 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 19 in Speaking and 18 in Writing; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum score of 6.5 with at least a 6.0 in each section.
