The BESS with a major in Health and Fitness Management and minor in Business Administration blends exercise science knowledge with the management and leadership skills needed to direct fitness and health/wellness programs in commercial, corporate, and institutional settings. Advanced course work and field experiences are required for graduation in these programs and depend on maintenance of GPAs above 2.5 or 2.75.
Career Opportunities
Students are prepared to direct fitness, wellness or health awareness programs in commercial, corporate, and institutional settings. This could also be an ideal option for students that have a goal of owning or managing their own exercise facility, fitness brand, or organization. Other graduates of this program are employed as salespersons, administrators, or managers of sports or fitness facilities.

為來自中國的學(xué)生設(shè)計 Applicants must have completed a high school. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) minimum score of 550 (paper-based test) or 213 (computer-based test), or 78 total score (internet-based test) with the following 3 out of 4 minimum section scores: 19 in Reading, 19 in Listening, 19 in Speaking and 18 in Writing; International English Language Testing System (IELTS) minimum score of 6.5 with at least a 6.0 in each section.
