Organisations around the world have never been more at risk of cyber-attacks, particularly with the greater role that data and technology are playing across all areas of their operations.
This short conversion course* introduces you to a number of essential topics such as:
- key trends and developments within cyber security
- fundamentals of network security and information security governance principles
- an inter-disciplinary perspective involving psychology that considers the human factor in cyber security challenges
Delivered completely online, it is easy to develop skills in this sought-after area while continuing in your current role. At the end of your course, there will be the opportunity to progress onto a PG Dip course or the full Masters.
Your future
There is currently a global shortage of computer science professionals and an increasing need for robust cyber security measures, particularly in smaller companies who are most vulnerable to attack. This course will give you a breadth of knowledge and skills to enable you move into this highly sought-after field.
Graduates from this course will be able to succeed in a range of roles such as Entry Level Software Developer, Risk Analyst, Threat Management, Secure Systems Designer/Programmer or Information Systems Administrator.
