The Master of Science Program in Applied Technology (MSAT) from the School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) is designed for people who want to deepen their understanding and use of technology while enhancing their skills and knowledge for improving the interface between technology and humanity in organizational systems.
Key Features
You draw on the combined strengths of two of DePaul University’s colleges-the School for Continuing and Professional Studies and the College of Computing and Digital Media.
You develop advanced and applied capabilities in one of the following areas of “applied technology” specialization:
- Applied Information Systems
- Applied Network Technology
- Applied IT Project Management
- Applied Information Technology
- Applied Human Computer Interaction
You customize portions of your study by combining coursework with on-the-job applied learning projects.
You receive assistance from a team of advisors from the University and professional community who provide coaching and mentoring to ensure your success.
You engage in a brief/intensive series of “l(fā)iberal learning” seminars designed to rekindle and/or deepen your practice in key domains of applied effectiveness (personal, interpersonal, organizational, values and inquiry).
You accomplish your goal of graduate study-enhancing your expertise in applying technology and earning an accredited graduate degree with competencies endorsed by the University.
Learning Outcomes

為來自中國(guó)的學(xué)生設(shè)計(jì) Applicants must possess the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.TOEFL – minimum score of 80 iBT TOEFL with no section lower than 17; minimum score of 550 on the paper-based exam; IELTS & IELTS Indicator – minimum overall score of 6.5 on the IELTS Academic. Pearson Test of English (PTE) – minimum English academic score of 53.
